EA and Respawn Entertainment have recently announced their newest game: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, through a reveal trailer.
EA and the studio behind popular games like Titanfall and Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment, has confirmed that the new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a third-person single-player game and will not contain microtransactions!
EA has garnered some negative comments due to their pay-to-win Star Wars game in Star Wars Battlefront and thankfully they listened to the public and removed any form of microtransactions in this upcoming game.
The game’s story continues shortly after Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith where the Jedi were considered outlaws and were hunted by the newly formed Empire. The main character of the game is Cal Kestis, a young padawan who survived Order 66. Cal Kestis will be played by Shameless and Gotham Star: Cameron Monaghan.
Cal Kestis and the other surviving Jedis will be hunted by Inquisitors, which are force sensitive individuals recruited by the Empire in order to eliminate all remaining Jedi. It is the job of the player to pick up the pieces of Cal’s past and to complete his training and master the art of the lightsaber – all before the Inquisitors discover your plan to rebuild the Jedi Order.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been given a release date of November 15, 2019, and will be released on the PS4, Xbox and PC via the EA Origin Store.
