All you need is to bring one (1) of any of the accepted valid IDs below:
- Philippine Driver’s License
- Philippine Passport
- Social Security System (SSS) ID
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) with Photo
- Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) ID
- Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID
- For foreigners: Passport, ACR, or SRRV
How to apply for PLDT Fiber
There are two ways you can apply for a PLDT Fiber subscription: first, there’s the online method, which is more convenient as you can complete the process at the comfort of your home or anywhere you are. Alternatively, you can do it physically by going to your nearest PLDT branch and have a representative assist you through the whole process.
Apply PLDT Fiber online
Step 1: Visit the PLDT Fiber website here: https://pldthome.com/fiber
Step 2: Choose if you’re living in a house/apartment or condominium. Then, type your address to check if PLDT is available in your area.
Step 3: A virtual map will pop-out where you have to use the red pin to point to your exact location. Once done, click “Check Serviceability.”
Step 4: You should see a confirmation that PLDT is available in your area (or not). Hit “Continue” to proceed with the application.
Step 5: Type in your complete your address.
Step 6: Key in the personal details required.
Step 7: Type the one-time password (OTP) sent to you via text message.
Step 8: After that, input the OTP sent via email.
Step 9: Tick all the checkboxes and click continue to proceed.
Step 10: Finalize the process and wait for the service representatives to install your PLDT Fiber internet connection.
Apply PLDT Fiber via physical branches
Step 1: Book an appointment on any PLDT branch through their website.
Step 3: Prepare at least 1 valid ID (see accepted IDs below) and proceed to your chosen PLDT branch on the scheduled date. Approach a PLDT representative to assist you on your application.
How long is the PLDT lock-in period?
Just like all postpaid plans from any telcos in the Philippines, a PLDT Fiber internet subscription comes with a 24-month or 2-year lock-in period.
PLDT Fiber minimum speed and service reliability
PLDT Fiber plans are subject to 30% minimum speed (of the plan you’re subscribed to) at 80% service reliability.
How much is the PLDT installation fee?
A PLDT Home Fiber subscription comes with an installation and modem fee of Php3,600. Subscribers have the option to pay it in full upfront, or make staggered payments of Php100 per month for 36 months, which will be automatically added to your monthly bill.
Meanwhile, PLDT Fiber Biz subscription comes with free installation.
