Per analyst expectations, the iPhone 12 is slated to be officially announced in September with global shipment ready by early October. It is also said that there will be no EarPods included in the box.
According to Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives, Apple has successfully addressed its manufacturing and supply chain woes brought by the coronavirus pandemic. The company has reportedly increased its iPhone 12 production so that the phone can be unveiled in September, the typical month for iPhone launch events.

That the iPhone 12 will be announced without delay is good news, but one reported change to the upcoming phone will certainly irritate the fans. Ives, along with analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, believes the iPhone 12 will not ship with Earpods included in the box.
Apparently the omission of the wired headphones accessory is intended to increase the adoption of the separately sold, wireless AirPods. Let’s hope the iPhone 12 will be unveiled with a cheaper price because of the lack of bundled Earpods.
