After several teasers since last month, the Starmobile Diamond X1 is finally available for purchase nationwide. The price for this octa-core smartphone, you ask? The Happy Man company puts it at Php13,990.

Its IPS capacitive screen with 720p resolution and 245ppi pixel density is great for video playback and gaming. Besides the juicy specs above, the Starmobile Diamond X1 is also dual-SIM (micro + regular/mini), dual-3G capable. Sound quality is superb thanks to the dual Yamaha 1420 speakers with 1.2-watt output.

Meanwhile, in the software department, the Starmobile Diamond X1 runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, with future versions available via over-the-air (OTA) software updates. Should you decide to replace your old device with the Diamond X1, you can easily transfer contacts, calendar reminders, and more information with ease using the Starmobile Sync app. The aluminum finish and scratch resistant glass make up the device’s strong build.
