DJI Spark “lands” in the Philippines.
Last month, leading drone manufacturer announced the DJI Spark. This new aircraft from the company targets the mainstream audience. Unlike its other drones, the new Spark is more intuitive and easy-to-use — perfect for the non-techies out there.
The new DJI Spark also steals the spot from the Mavic Pro of being their smallest drone ever. Just when we taught that DJI has already done it with the Mavic, they release the Spark that’s just almost the size of a smartphone. It’s so small it can fit in your bag.
But despite the small form factor, the Spark isn’t 1short on features. It has some of the features that you can see on DJI’s bigger drones. Moreover, the Spark stands out because of its neat and cool control features.
The Spark is can be operated without any physical controller or smartphone app. Yep, you can command the aircraft using your hand gestures. This, together with its portable profile, makes it the ultimate selfie device and travel companion.
And speaking of selfies, the aircraft takes pictures and record videos using its 12-megapixel CMOS sensor. It also has a 2-axis gimbal that assures steady shots.
The drone also flies at the speed of up to 50kph and has a 16-minute flight time.
The DJI Spark is now available at Henry’s Camera for Php35,000. We may expect this price to go lower once MSI – ECS, the official DJI distributor in the Philippines, starts offering the Spark here in the country.
