Chinese phone manufacturer HONOR has become a highlight of the recently held IFA 2023 as it bags not just one, not two, but 36 different awards during the event.
During a keynote session entitled “Unfold Tomorrow,” HONOR Chief Executive Officer George Zhao laid out to the public the brand’s commitment to bringing foldable smartphones to the mainstream.
In addition, the company exec revealed two of HONOR’s latest innovations—the HONOR Magic V2 and HONOR Magic V Purse.
HONOR Magic V2 is currently the lightest and slimmest inward-foldable smartphone while the HONOR Magic V Purse reimagines the concept of the foldable smartphone as a wearable purse.
Showcasing HONOR’s collaborative spirit, part of the event also involved a segment that demonstrated the many possibilities with the Magic V Purse through the creative endeavors of its tastemaker partners.
Drawing from the HONOR Talents Global Design Awards platform were top talents who had partaken in the event. Namely, BURBERRY Menswear Creative Director Bram Van Diepen, China Academy of Art Yuan Youmin professor and crossover artist Xiao Hui Wang, and contemporary artist Yunuene Esparza.
But apart from the exciting revelations, HONOR becoming a recipient of multiple awards from the media is certainly a thing for the event’s history.
Android Headlines awarded the HONOR Magic V Purse the “Best of IFA 2023,” emphasizing the product’s innovation as a product, fashion statement, and trend-setting nature.
Likewise, GSM Arena gave the Magic V Purse high acclaim stating the smartphone’s advanced design, while complimenting HONOR for “thinking outside the box” with it.
