We already know that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro has one of the best smartphone camera systems in the industry. And now, we have a more scientific evidence as DxOMark, a credible camera testing website, has launched their final verdict for this device.
DxOMark gave the Huawei Mate 20 Pro a score of 109, which tied to the company’s other flagship device, the P20 Pro. This allowed Huawei to take the top 2 spots on the website’s top-performing mobile cameras list.
The website praised the device’s low-light performance and noise management, pleasant white balance and color, reliable autofocusing system, target exposure and dynamic range, and impressive zooming capability.
Those characteristics were also exhibited on the device’s video recording capabilities.
However, DxOMark pointed out how the camera produces unnatural look in finer details and the lack of sharpness in the Bokeh mode. These are just some of the things that a lot of smartphone manufacturers haven’t figured out to fix yet.
But then again, it’s no secret that the Mate 20 Pro is one of the best, if not the best camera phone in the industry today. In our dedicated camera review, we liked how it offers great flexibility when taking any kind of images.
The 40-megapixel front camera produces images with great color and contrast, the 20-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens lets you cram in more subject on a single frame, and the 8-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens can capture mind-blowing images of faraway subjects.
Besides its camera system, our detailed full review also shows the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is possibly the best smartphone in the market today. It brags a sleek design, a large and vibrant display, long battery life, and reliable performance.
