HMD Global is preparing a really exciting event for Nokia at MWC 2019.
Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer, has already confirmed in a long Twitter post that the company will hit the MWC stage on February 24.

Thanks to the leaks that sprung out in the last few months, we kind of already know what to expect at the said event. For one, there’s the highly-anticipated Nokia 9. A smartphone that will boast five primary cameras on the back. This might be the device that will revive the Nokia PureView branding.
The existence of this device has been confirmed by the teaser that has surfaced online. The photo shows a silhouette of what seems to be the camera section of the handset, with the most camera lenses that we saw on a smartphone. Right next to it is the enhanced version to give you a better look.
The next teaser looks like a completely different device. As you can see, the pictured smartphone has the trendy punch-hole front camera on the display — the brands like Huawei and Samsung‘s latest attempt to kill the bezels.
However, the previous leaks and renders that we already saw suggest that the Nokia 9 will have the traditional ultra-slim bezel on the top. Which leads us to believe that this might be the Nokia 8.1 Plus, which have appeared in a set of renders released by OnLeaks and 91Mobiles.
With that, all we just have to do is wait. The MWC 2019 event of HMD Global and Nokia is only less than a month from now, so it won’t be long until we have to bare this excitement.
