The quarantine period as a response to the growing number of cases brought on by the pandemic forced people to stay at home.
Luckily, PLDT Inc.—the country’s leading telecoms and digital service provider—announced that they will be extending their FREE Speedboost for their PLDT Home Fibr customers. This comes with free NDD calls for all postpaid subscribers till May 31, 2020. This does not only benefit Fibr customers coming from Luzon, but also in the Mindanao and Visayas regions.
What’s the FREE PLDT Speedboost all about? It provides PLDT Fibr users a minimum speed of up to 25Mbps. This is especially useful to households where there are a lot of internet users, therefore requiring a high bandwidth for users to cope with their online access.
Meanwhile, the free NDD calls allow families to use their telephones to phone friends and relatives across the nation.
On top of this, subscribers will have continuous access to official news and government sites.
For those who love to stream their favorite shows and moves, iFlixVIP is also extended for PLDT Home Fibr subscribers until May 31, 2020.
Do not worry about sudden disconnections and suspensions of account due to missed payments. PLDT Home has agreed to extend their payment program during this period of the extended community quarantine. PLDT Home postpaid customers will also be automatically enrolled into an installment payment scheme for 6 months for all bill balances starting April 30, 2020. This will enable them to easily settle their due bills for 6 months covering May to October 2020.
PLDT Home subscribers should have received a new statement of account which started last May 1. This statement shows the installment amount and monthly service fee that is due for the subsequent billing month.
For customers to be able to keep an update on their payments and bills, they can see updates on their accounts via the MyPLDT-Smart mobile app.
According to Al Panlilio, PLDT Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, these efforts by the company is to maintain unity and strong connection as a nation facing this pandemic while in the safety of our homes.
