The release for the POCO F2 and F2 Pro have been long overdue.

However, we might be nearing its release as the POCO F2 Pro has been closely running around the rumor mill lately. And with this latest leak, we’re getting our closest look on this device.

There were reports suggesting that the POCO F2 Pro will just be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro. Much like how the POCO X2 is to the Redmi K30. However, POCO India General Manager Chandolu Manmohan dismissed this rumor a month ago and said that the POCO F2 is still under development.

However, a list of Google Play supported devices reveals the existence of a POCO F2 Pro, which has a codename of “lmi”. That’s the same codename of the Redmi K30 Pro, which suggests that they’re going to be the same device.

We can also spot the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom that bares a “lmiinpro” codename, the word “in” in the middle suggests that this device is headed towards the Indian market.

With that, we can expect that the Redmi K30 series will keep their names once they arrive in India, one of the biggest markets for Xiaomi. Although, it’s still plausible that the Redmi K30 series will ship in other markets under the POCO brand.
