For days now, many believe that the POCO F2 will be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro.

This came after XDA’s report that the Redmi K30 Pro will launch under the POCO brand. However, POCO’s General Manager Chandolu Manmohan dismissed this theory during a Zoom meeting with some of its fans.

Manmohan also confirmed that POCO F2 is still on the development stage and it will not retail for a price of INR20,000 (~Php13,000). He said that those who are expecting the POCO F2 to be at the said price should better get a POCO X2 or other phones instead.

Aside from updates on the F2, Manmohan also disclosed that the brand is currently working on TWS earbuds. This will be the first accessory under the POCO branding if ever they’ll release it.

Despite POCO negating that the K30 Pro will be the next POCO F2, there’s still a huge possibility that the K30 Pro will launch as another device in the POCO brand.
