Since the successful debut of the Pocophone F1 last 2018, smartphone enthusiasts have been wondering why the company is taking long to launch a second phone. Wait no more, POCO has finally teased us with their upcoming POCO X2.
The official release is set on the 4th of February at an event in Delhi, India. Meanwhile, the company even created a website to build up excitement. The website provided a glimpse on what is to be the X2’s speculations. However, it seems like it’s not too accurate because we tested an iPhone X and it got 120Hz, which is definitely not true at all.
It is assumed that the POCO X2 was designed with a 120Hz refresh rate display panel. In addition, the main camera is most likely the IMX686 which also served as a central module for the Redmi K30. It was also supposed to be powered by a Snapdragon 765G. Furthermore, the hints of liquid cooling and fast charging are part of the expectations.
While the full details of the POCO X2 remains unclear, the company openly stated that they were planning to bring more phones this 2020. Poco’s General Manager, C. Manmohan, has been updating the media to confirm the launch date for the X2, and for their future smartphones. We only need to wait a few more days before the big reveal.
