Just a week ago, it came as a surprise to everyone when POCO announced its independence from Xiaomi. The former sub-brand established a strong presence in the midrange smartphone market when it launched its first and only device yet — the POCO  F1.

To recall, the Pocophone F1 was originally launched in August 2018. It was one of the most popular smartphones to both consumers and tech-enthusiasts because of its insane pricing. It came with a flagship Snapdragon 845 with massive 6GB RAM for a price below Php20,000. And just recently, it has been upgraded to the latest Android 10 operating system.

Since the announcement, the next question now is when is the launch and release date of the upcoming POCO F2?
