A couple of market research has proven that Realme is one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands in the market.

Now, a new market analysis from Counterpoint reveals that that Realme has already sold 50 million smartphones. What’s more impressive is, they are only 2.25 years old, making them the world record holder of being the fastest brand to sell that many phones.

That’s despite the entire industry suffered in the last few months due to the health crisis.

Another research from Canalys reveals that the industry did recover in the third quarter of 2020 as the community quarantine in select markets eases.

Backed by Canalys, Counterpoint’s findings also reveals that Realme is in the seventh spot in terms of market share in Q3 2020.

Still, the numbers they churned out were still enough to achieve the 50 million mark. The company managed to achieve a whopping 132% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and 45% year-on-year (YoY) growth.

Realme was able to ship 14.8 million smartphones in Q3, possibly thanks to the Realme 7 and 7 Pro, and other affordable products that offer premium specs and features for the price.
