Realme has officially teased the Realme X50 Pro 5G.
The company was supposed to introduce the Realme X50 Pro 5G in Barcelona, Spain. But now that MWC 2020 has been entirely canceled, they were left with no choice but to improvise and hold a smaller online launch event.
It’s such a shame that the X50 Pro 5G will not have a proper fancy debut considering all the impressive features that it will have.
For one, the company has confirmed that their upcoming release will boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. A powerful chipset that we expect to see in more flagship devices this year. It’s the same device that was previously leaked, which had the highest benchmark score in AnTuTu.
Qualcomm’s latest processor will also enable the device’s dual-mode (NA and SA) 5G connectivity.
Other than its high-end processor, Realme has stepped up its fast-charging game with the X50 Pro 5G. On Realme Europe’s official Twitter page, the company confirmed that it will sport 65W SuperDart Charge. Easily the fastest mobile charging technology that you can find on a smartphone once it’s out in the market.
How did Realme was able to handle thermals under such high power input is unknown. But we’re surely excited to check out how fast it really is in the real world.
Another teaser tweeted by Realme Europe shows a silhouette of the device. It gives a peak on its curved corners, and what appears to be dual selfie cameras inside a punch-hole cutout on the top-left of the screen.
Rumor has it that the Realme X50 Pro 5G will have 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a FHD+ screen, and will ship with Android 10 with the company’s own Realme UI on top.
The Realme X50 Pro 5G will make its official debut in China on February 24, 2020, via a live stream at 9:30 AM CET.
In the meantime, you can check out the Realme X50 5G, which is confirmed to arrive in the Philippines very soon.
