We finally have official word of the Redmi Note 9 series’ arrival in the Philippines.

Xiaomi Philippines announced in its official Facebook page that the Redmi note 9S is releasing in the Philippines soon. The company promises to share more details on May 4, 2020.

For a quick recap, the Redmi Note 9S sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor, with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Keeping the lights on is the 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

There’s a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS screen on the front, with a punch-hole for the 16-megapixel selfie camera. A quad-camera setup on the back led by a 48-megapixel main shooter and 8-megapixel ultra-wide. You can check the full specs list here.

Its official price shall be announced on the 4th. Albeit, we expect the 4GB/64GB model to be priced at around Php9,500, while the 6GB/128GB variant will be in the neighborhood of Php11,000. These are just rough estimations from their prices in Singapore.
