Twitter user and renowned leaker @L0vetodream has posted images of what appears to be a braided version of the iPhone 12’s Lightning to USB Type-C cable. The posted image seems to complement the previous claim that iPhone 12 will come with a similar cable out-of-the-box.

If true, it seems that Apple is trying to compensate its decision to remove the inclusion of earbud and power adapter with its up and coming flagship device. The same also appears as true with the Apple Watch which will not see the same accessories that were previously a staple in the iPhone box.

However, it is not yet definite whether Apple is considering to make a total shift to Lightning to USB Type-C cables for all its products throughout the year.

Adding to the information, the same Twitter user also claims that Apple is already on the path towards using Lightning to USB Type-C cable with the iMac Pro.

Apple’s Lightning cables are notorious for getting easily broken. Here is to hoping that the braided version offers a more durable design.
