iPhone 8 leaked case

We’ve already seen how the upcoming Apple smartphone flagship would possibly look like. And with the new iPhone 8 design leak, it looks like the rumored design is slowly becoming a reality. This new information came from a luxury case manufacturer called Nodus and a YouTube channel called EverythingApplePro.

Jack Spencer, co-founder of Nodus, said that they received CAD models from Apple’s supply chain which is believed that it “accurately depicts” the highly-anticipated iPhone 8. Nodus has a strong feeling about its authenticity that they already started manufacturing cases based on the model.

A video from EverythingApplePro further justifies this claim. They were also able to obtain an iPhone 8 dummy unit — which looks exactly the same as with the former’s.

The unit shown is expected to be the “Plus” version with its 5.8-inch screen, since it’s been rumored that Apple is also releasing a 5.8-inch variant. It is also suggested that Apple will finally start using OLED panels on their upcoming smartphones.

Considering how intense these leaks are getting, I think it is safe to assume that this is exactly what the upcoming iPhone 8 would look like.

If we digest the leaked materials, the upcoming iPhone 8 will still have a dual-camera setup at the back. But this time, they are in vertical orientation, with the LED flash sandwiched in the middle. The device also has metal sides and a glass back.

Also, it appears that the entire front of the handset is covered with a display, no home button/fingerprint scanner insight.

Vivo might have beaten them with the on-screen fingerprint scanning technology, but it looks like Apple has figured it out this time. We can only hope that it wouldn’t end up in other weird, and hard-to-reach location like on the Galaxy S8.

And in case you’re wondering, the iPhone 8 dummy shows no signs of the headphone jack as well which isn’t really a surprise.

Well, it looks like we finally know how the iPhone 8 will look like. We’re still a few months away from its official release. And leading to that, we can expect juicier leaks about Apple’s upcoming flagship.
