Lenovo Mobile has been teasing its Philippine comeback way back in January. The wait is finally over as finally, the brand recently confirmed its official return to the country.

According to an official Facebook post, Lenovo revealed that its mobile products will be available in its Lazada flagship store starting on May 23.

Unfortunately, Lenovo did not confirm what specific devices. On the other hand, the company has also been pretty generous in giving us hints on the matter. Before its announcement post, Lenovo posted polls on Facebook.

One poll asks users if they have seen a smartphone with 3GB of RAM for only Php3,9990. With this information, Lenovo is most likely to unveil the Lenovo K5 Play, a device launched in China in 2018.

Moreover, if our assumption is right, we’ll be getting a smartphone with a 5.7-inch screen display, a Snapdragon 430 chipset, 3GB+32GB variation, and a 3,000mAh battery. Given the price, it’s a fairly good deal.

Lenovo also polled about a handset with 6GB of RAM for around Php6,000. With this, if it will launch the vanilla version, it is just logical to release the Pro version. If we’re correct, we’ll see the Lenovo K5 Play Pro, 6GB RAM variant. The device comes in a 5.99-inch IPS display, a Snapdragon 636 processor, 64GB or 128GB of RAM, and a 4050mAh battery.

Aside from these two, Lenovo has also teased about the Motorola Razr 2019 flip phone.

Lenovo’s comeback is something to look forward to albeit a rather unconventional entrance given the current crisis. However, since the brand seems to be competing in the low-end market, this is indeed an opportunity as people are less likely to purchase expensive items in the coming months.

For now, we’ll have to wait until May 23 to know what Lenovo has in store for us. Are you excited about this one?
