On the Camera side, both are with quad-camera setups at the rear. The Reno 2F has a 48-megapixel main shooter along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel mono and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
While the Vivo 17 Pro also has a 48-megapixel main shooter, 13-megapixel (telephoto), 8-megapixel (ultrawide) and 2-megapixel (depth sensor) On the front camera aspect, the Vivo V17 Pro has a dual-camera setup with a motorized pop-up 32-megapixel and 8-megapixel compared to the Reno 2F’s motorized pop-up 16-megapixel single shooter. Clearly, the V17 Pro wins the camera department.
Both devices to come with AMOLED screens. However, they differ in screen protection. A Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection is found on the Vivo V17 Pro, while the OPPO Reno 2F uses Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The Battery size of the V17 Pro is a bit bigger than the OPPO Reno 2F as the former has a 4,100mAh battery versus the 4,000mAh from OPPO. However, the latter has faster 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging support (vs 18W).
Storage-wise, they both have a 128GB internal storage. However, only the OPPO Reno 2F has the capacity to expand its storage to 256GB. For the V17 Pro, you’re stuck at 128GB storage only. In this aspect, OPPO takes the cake.
Judging from the specs, I would have to say the Vivo V17 Pro takes the win against the OPPO Reno 2F. Its faster processor and better cameras prove to be enough to defeat the Oppo Reno 2F.
Even though the Vivo V17 Pro is more expensive than the Reno 2F, we think the extra money you’d be paying would be worth it.
The OPPO Reno 2F can be bought for Php19,90 while the Vivo V17 Pro is available for purchase at Php21,999.
