According to reports, Apple will launch the upcoming iPhone 12 on September 8. Following that event is the Apple Silicon Mac event on happening on October 27.

The news came from Apple leaker, “ihactu”. The tipster posted on Twitter that the tech giant will announce the brand’s first 5G phone, the iPhone 12, a new Apple Watch, and iPad on an online launch in September. Apple will also unveil the latest version of Apple’s wireless charging called AirPower in the same event.


Meanwhile, the October 27 event said to be for iPad Pro and MacBook. It’s not yet sure whether it will be a virtual launch or a physical one. The post moreover claims that the new MacBook will use Apple’s proprietary chipset.

During the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in June, the company announced that it will ditch using Intel CPUs in exchange for its own processor. The rumors also suggest that in the same event, Apple will announce its augmented reality (AR) glasses named Apple Glass.
