Apple just revealed the new MacBook Air 2020, which fixes one of the major flaws of the series. Its price in the Philippines was revealed immediately alongside its release in the US.

If you’re looking for a design overhaul, this is not it. The new MacBook Air 2020 sports the same sleek, all-metal look that its predecessor has.

The main change here is the improved keyboard. It uses the new Magic Keyboard that we first saw on the 16-inch MacBook Pro. It provides better tactility and travel time, and should be more durable than the infamous Butterfly keyboard.

Apple also doubles down in performance. The new MacBook Air 2020 sports new 10th-gen Intel Ice Lake processors. You can configure it with up to 1.7GHz Core i7 quad-core processor. Although, only the Core i3 and i5 models will be available in the Philippines. At least as of writing.

Other than that, it still has some of the features that the MacBook Air is known for. It boasts a 13.3-inch True Tone Retina display, a TouchID fingerprint scanner for password-free login, a dedicated Apple T2 security chip, great stereo speakers, and a spacious trackpad.
