And then there’s two more. SKK Mobile has taken the wraps off two new smartphones under its Lynx series. The first one is the 5-inch Lynx S LTE, and the other is smaller 4-inch Lynx S LTE Mini.

If we’re not mistaken, these are the company’s first two smartphones that can connect to LTE networks. Previous entries in the Lynx series, such as the Lynx Luxe, Lynx Lite and the original itself, could only take advantage of up to 3G HSPA+ speeds.

Both SKK Mobile Lynx S LTE and Lynx S LTE Mini seem to be powered by the same 1.5GHz quad-core processor. They also have the storage capacity and amount of RAM at 8 gigabytes and 1 gigabyte, respectively. However, the Lynx S LTE has a larger IPS display at 5 inches with 720p resolution, whereas the Mini has a smaller 4-inch display with WVGA resolution. The Mini also has an inferior pair of cameras.

Another great thing about the Lynx S LTE and its Mini counterpart is the aggressive pricing. The former only costs Php3,999, whereas the latter is even cheaper at Php2,399. SKK Mobile has yet to post a formal announcement of these two phones on their official Facebook page, so you probably won’t be able to buy them at company stores and kiosks at the moment.
