Huawei’s brand new mid-range smartphone, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019, is finally available in the Philippines.
An event held at the SM Megamall Fashion Hall marked the official release of the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 in the country. The device was proven to be a hit as Huawei was able to record a whopping Php200,000,000 worth of sales in just two hours. That’s more than 15,000 units went off the shelves in an instant.
The launch success of the Y9 Prime 2019 isn’t so surprising thanks to its appealing features. For starters, it’s currently the cheapest device to come with a pop-up selfie camera.
It also brags a triple camera setup on the back, which consists of a 16-megapixel primary shooter and an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens. It’s powered by a Kirin 710F processor, generous 128GB of storage, has a large 4,000mAh battery, and an almost bezel-less 6.59-inch FHD+ display.
