Another 5G smartphone is launching soon. This time, it will be from Vivo’s gaming sub-brand, iQOO.
According to the official post in Weibo, the brand will launch the upcoming iQOO Neo 3 on April 23. Apart from the announcement date, the said material has also given out key specs of the new device.
The Vivo iQOO Neo 3 5G, as the name suggests, is yet another 5G device from the brand similar to the Vivo S6 5G. As expected, it comes with flagship internals that fit well for gaming. These include a Snapdragon 865 processor, and an improved 144Hz refresh rate. The device will also use a faster and better UFS 3.1 flash memory and LPDDR5 memory.
Apart from the ones mentioned above, we don’t know the other specs of the handset. Speculations suggest that it will have a punch-hole display with an underwhelming LCD screen. This is expected as the smartphone is a toned-down version of the flagship iQOO 3. There might also be no in-display fingerprint scanner but instead will put the scanner either on the side or at the rear part.
According to rumors, the iQOO Neo 3 will have 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage. It will also run Android 10 with FunTouch OS 10. Its other features include a quad setup and a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
Just to reiterate, we better wait for its official launch on April 23 for the complete specifications. No word yet as to whether or not the Vivo iQOO Neo 3 5G will be on sale in the Philippines.
