Now, the company took to their official Weibo page to announce that the X50 Pro will be launching in China on June 01, 2020 at 7:30PM (CST).

We shall have the full specs list and pricing of the Vivo X50 Pro on that date. But before it officially launches, the company has revealed some key details about this device, particularly in the camera department.

It’s said that the device will feature a new 50-megapixel sensor from Samsung dubbed as the ISOCELL GN1. It outputs 12.5-megapixel photos with pixel-binning technology.

The device will also include a gimbal-like stabilization. A technology that they teased on the Vivo APEX 2020 concept phone. It features a large Galaxy S20 Ultra-like camera design on the back, with the top part dominated by a large lens that allows it to move freely — like a gimbal.

Having that much stability will allow the Vivo X50 Pro to take brighter low-light shots, as what they demoed on a video post on their Weibo page.

We’ll have more details about this device once it becomes official on June 1.
