The upcoming Redmi 10X will introduce a new line of Redmi devices to the market.
Redmi has posted a couple of teasers in their social media handles in anticipation of the Redmi 10X. it is said to be the first device to come out in the new Redmi X-series. A line that’s expected to be cheaper than the popular Redmi K-series.
It’s been confirmed that the 10X will be the first to use the new MediaTek Dimensity 820 processor that came out yesterday. Xiaomi revealed that the device was able to get an AnTuTu score of 415,672. Close to the scores that flagship devices got, which is at around 500,000.
This processor will unlock the 5G connectivity and VoNR for the 10X. Moreover, the Dimensity 820 processor has support for 120Hz screens, so we’re expecting that feature to arrive on the 10X.
The rest of the specs is yet to be known. But as per the teaser posters published, the 10X will be similar to the Redmi Note 9s in terms of design. There’s the quad-camera setup on the back.
So just like the Note 9s, this one might also come with a 48-megapixel main shooter and 8-megapixel ultra-wide.
It’s also expected to have a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS screen on the front, with a punch-hole on the top for the selfie camera.
We’ll have more details about the Redmi 10X once it’s released on May 26, 2020.
