A couple of days back, Honor teased the View 20, the company’s upcoming high-end device. And now, we got more important details about this smartphone.
For starters, Honor will be joining the bandwagon of smartphone brands partnering with luxury car manufacturers. We already have sports car-inspired devices like the OPPO Find X Lamborgini Automibili and OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. And for the View 20, Honor has partnered with Maserati.
For those who are unfamiliar, Maserati is an Italian brand that manufactures sports, luxury, and other high-end cars. With the emphasis in “luxury” and “high-end”, the pictured Honor View 20 Maserati Edition looks more elegant and minimalistic than the other car-inspired smartphone that we have seen.
The only key distinction here is the Maserati logo at the back. We’re also seeing here a triple camera setup, one of them is the previously showcased 48-megapixel sensor.An all-screen display is also spotted on the front, with a punch-hole selfie camera like what the Huawei Nova 4 and the Samsung Galaxy A8s has.
Being a high-end device, the View 20 will come with a Kirin 980 processor. It will also have a new feature called Link Turbo, which will use both WiFi and 4G LTE at the same time for faster speeds.
Vmall has already listed the standard Honor View 20 model on their website under the pre-order status. There’s a 6GB/64GB model that retails for CNY2,799 (~Php21,700), while a 6GB/128GB configuration will be at CNY3,299 (~Php25,500).
Honor is set to officially unveil the View 20 in all its glory on December 26.
