OPPO officially unveiled the new OPPO F11 series, a new line of smartphones that will carry the brand’s name at the first half of the year.
The duo consists of the OPPO F11 and F11 Pro. But, unsurprisingly, everyone’s attention is currently centered on the ‘Pro’ version, thanks to some of the advantages it has over the regular version.
Other than having better features, it feels like the company intentionally wants people to focus their attention on the OPPO F11 Pro as it has one big feature — a pop-up selfie camera.
It just makes perfect sense as some of its competitors, especially Vivo, has come out with a device with a similar feature. For one, there’s the Vivo V15 Pro, which is also a midrange smartphone that has a camera levitating from the top.
However, if you’re one of those people who have doubts about the durability of pop-up cameras, then you might want to settle to the standard OPPO F11.
But other than the pop-up camera novelty, will you be sacrificing other important features when you go with the non-Pro version? That’s what we’re about to figure out as we find the differences between the OPPO F11 and OPPO F11 Pro.

I guess there’s not a lot to talk about here. As you can see, the only key difference between the OPPO F11 and F11 Pro is the pop-up camera. The Pro model has the levitating camera on the front, while the standardmodel retains the waterdrop notch to house the selfie snapper.
But other than that, everything is pretty much the same. It even has the same 16-megapixel sensor with OPPO’s AI face beauty and other novelties.
They also have the same 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear cameras. Besides the pixel-packed sensor, they have a wide f/1.8 aperture. The company is also introducing their Ultra Night Mode feature, which makes the images taken in low-light scenarios look brighter.
Both models will be powered by the latest MediaTek Helio P70 processor with a Mali-G72 GPU, and OPPO’s Hyper Boost technology that optimizes the overall system to improve its performance when gaming.
There’s also the 128GB of storage, although they will come in different RAM configurations. The F11 has 4GB of memory, while the F11 Pro comes with 6GB.
OPPO is also introducing their new VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology on the OPPO F11 series. The company claims that it can fill up the devices’ 4,000mAh battery back to 100% in just 80-minutes. However, it still uses a microUSB port instead of the newer Type-C implementation.
Well, that’s it. If you’re really not into that pop-up camera craze, then you might want to settle with the OPPO F11. Besides, unless you really open a bunch of apps at once, you would barely notice the less RAM capacity that it has.
The most interesting part is, the OPPO F11 is more affordable than the OPPO F11 Pro. It retails for a price of only Php15,990, while the F11 Pro has a more premium price of Php18,990.
Both of the smartphones’ release details in the Philippines are yet to be announced. As spotted in a mall in Manila, the OPPO F11 Pro is officially launching in the country very soon. On the other hand, Vivo is also taunting to bring their V15 Pro and its levitating camera in the country.
