Blizzard has finally spilled the beans of its latest mobile-based Warcraft title when it revealed Warcraft Arclight Rumble earlier today.
But more than just another addition to the tried-and-true tower defense genre, the latest Warcraft incarnation sees players going on the “offensive” on top of the defense.
Set in Azeroth, Warcraft Arclight Rumble features familiar heroes and villains from the World of Warcraft universe. But while the said figures play center stage in WAR’s small yet chaotic battlefield, the accompanying units make up the player’s army and are as essential to winning the game.

The game’s overall single-player campaign is quite massive in that it will offer 70 unique maps, at the time of the announcement, for players to go through.
Although solo players will have a lot of time to spend in the game all by themselves, it also features multiplayer elements for them to engage with others. In particular, the co-op mode, which brings a handful of players on a single battlefield towards a common goal, or with PVP by going against one another competitively. There are other notable game modes, such as Raid, and others in development to look forward to.
