Mobile devices will soon be able to play Riot’s popular tactical shooter Valorant

Not much information has been revealed, like the hardware requirements and mobile gameplay, but the company says it will be aptly called Valorant Mobile

According to the developer, there’s already an average of 14 million monthly players for the PC version of the game, which only launched in 2020. Riot Games also revealed that over 1 million concurrent viewers tuned into the recently concluded Valorant Champions Tour in Reyjavik, Iceland, the game’s biggest competitive tournament to date.

There’s nothing too surprising about the news because a few months ago Riot also launched a mobile version of its popular MOBA game League of Legends. Rumors about the mobile spin-off also started floating around a month ago.

Other popular shooter games which also arrived on mobile include Apex Legends Mobile, PUBG Mobile, Fortnite, and Call of Duty Mobile. All of them are pretty successful, so it only makes sense that Valorant follows suit.
