Samsung has been busy in the past few days. After announcing their Galaxy Note 10 phones, they also went ahead and released the Samsung Galaxy Book S.
The Samsung Galaxy Book S is the successor to the Galaxy Book 2. It’s a thin and lightweight computer that is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.
It weighs less than a kilogram, 0.96kg to be exact, and it also measures just 11.8mm in thickness. It can also offer a complete PC Experience as it can run a Windows 10 operating system.
The Galaxy Book S has a 13.3-inch Full HD touchscreen, which is around the average size for a notebook.The Book S also has an 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Along with that, it can support microSD cards so you can bump up the storage by up to 1TB.

The Samsung Galaxy Book S has a 42Wh battery with Quick Charge 2.0. The Book S is also said to be able to last up to 23 hours of video playback time.
So if you’re only planning to use the book for non-battery demanding activities, it should be able to last you a day before it needs to be charged again. The notebook will also rely on the single USB-C Port, just like the new MacBook Pros, as no other interfaces are included.
