The new OPPO Reno 3 and Reno 3 are arriving in the Philippines soon. OPPO PH posted in their social media accounts confirming the upcoming arrival of these two devices in the country.
Even though the brand has not given us an exact date, we expect that both devices will be available in the market in the coming weeks. The OPPO Reno 3 Pro and Reno 3 were first launched in China December last year.
The OPPO Reno 3 Pro features a 6.5-inch Full HD+AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. In terms of hardware, it comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 756G paired with 8GB/12GB RAM. Users may choose either a 128GB or 256GB internal storage variants.
Optics-wise, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro has quad rear camera setup with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 as its main sensor. Its other cameras include a 13-megapixel lens for 5x hybrid zoom, an 8-megapixel sensor for ultra-wide shots, and a 2-megapixel (mono) camera. Meanwhile, it has a 32-megapixel front camera in a punch-hole design.
Moreover, it has a 4,025mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner and a face unlock technology.
Meanwhile, its younger sibling, the OPPO Reno 3 has a smaller 6.4-inch AMOLED display with the same Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also has a toned-down MediaTek Dimensity 1000L processor, 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

Similarly, the OPPO Reno 3 has quad rear camera setup which includes a 64-megapixel (f/1.8, OIS), 8-megapixel (f/2.2, ultra-wide), 2-megapixel (mono), 2-megapixel (depth sensor) rear cameras. Meanwhile, its front camera is placed in a waterdrop notch in the upper-middle part of the screen.
Like the OPPO Reno3 Pro, the OPPO Reno has 4,025mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner and a face unlock technology.
The OPPO Reno 3 Pro is available in China at a starting price of CNY3,999 (~Php29,00) for the 8GB/128GB model, while the 12GB/256GB costs CNY4,499 (~Php32,700). On the other hand, OPPO Reno 3 retails for a price CNY3,399 (~Php24,700) for the 8GB/128GB version, and CNY3,699 (~Php26,900) for the 12GB/128GB variant.
No word has been given regarding what variants will be available in the Philippines as well as the local pricing. It is scheduled for an online launch this coming March 19, 2020.
