We’re getting close to finally seeing the highly-anticipated and most-leaked-and-rumored product of the year, the iPhone 12 series.

Apple has set a date for October 13 at 10 AM P.D.T (October 14, 1AM Manila time) at its website’s events page. No product was officially mentioned, but considering that the iPhone 12 series should have been released back in September, this is definitely it.

We’re actually not surprised by the delay. As you know, even a company as big as Apple has been affected by the global health crisis. Oh, and actually, the company confirmed it themselves back in July that its usual September iPhone launch will be pushed back.

That’s the reason why we only saw the new Apple Watch, iPad, and iPad Air last month.

The press invitation has the words “Hi, Speed.” Which might be pertaining to the device(s) fast 120Hz refresh rate screen, and not the processor, as the Apple A14 chip is rumored to only have marginal improvements over its predecessor.

Moreover, the iPhone 12 series is expected to come in four flavors. There’s the new iPhone 12 mini with a 5.4-inch screen, iPhone 12 with a 6.1-inch display (just like the iPhone 11), the iPhone 12 Pro with the same 6.1-inch display but should have higher-end specs just like the iPhone 11, and lastly, the top-tier iPhone 12 Pro Max with an enormous 6.7-inch display.

You can check out everything we know about the iPhone 12 to see what to expect from these devices.
