Fragmentation has been, and still, a big problem in the Android ecosystem. Thankfully, brands like Samsung are trying to solve that by providing dated software updates.

Recently, the Samsung Android 9 Pie update schedule has been released. This provides us information on what Galaxy smartphones are getting Android’s latest release, and when they’ll be getting them.

The interesting part is, the update will come with Samsung’s new One UI. This will replace Samsung’s current interface and is said to be more optimized in terms of performance and design.

But as expected, Samsung’s flagship and high-end devices get first dibs on the latest operating system. The update will start seeding on Galaxy S9 series on January 2019, with the Note 9 and Galaxy S8 series next in line on February and March, respectively.

As per the list, Samsung will be gradually releasing the Android 9 Pie update to a lot of their Android device for the entire year. The list of eligible models ends on Galaxy tablets on October 2019.
